Julia Schmitmeyer

Julia brings hands-on experience in senior living admissions and operations, with a focus on healthcare operations and strategic planning. That foundation was built early — she spent nearly five years as an STNA while completing her undergraduate degree, where she quickly discovered her passion was in leadership. She went on to earn a Master's in Healthcare Administration and brings that depth to every client engagement. At Marketing Essentials, Julia helps senior living organizations connect the dots between operations and marketing, understanding the pressures of census, admissions and the family decision-making process. She helps build marketing strategies that reflect what makes each community distinct while guiding families through one of the most personal decisions they'll ever make. When she's not working, Julia enjoys long walks, cooking, gardening, canning and reading. She's also musically inclined — she plays oboe and piano and sings in her church choir. Come summer, you'll likely find her on the water boating or swimming with friends and family.
