Our story starts with one woman, a dream and a bedroom converted to an office.
In 2009, principal Patty Cisco noticed the growing momentum of digital marketing in the business world and took hold by founding Marketing Essentials from a bedroom in her home.
With years of operations management, marketing, sales and strategic planning backing her new venture, she had a goal to build a digital agency that helped business leaders support and advance their growth goals.
Her endless energy, drive and passion grew the business to an in-house team of more than 20 digital marketing and sales experts today.
Marketing Essentials is now located in a modern, high-tech office space in downtown New Bremen. The funny thing is, Patty’s office is technically still in a bedroom, as our office building is a former family home. But for all of us at M.E., we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Our jobs have always been more than a job. We love what we do. And we love that the roof over our heads has always protected a family.

What is the M.E. Pay It Forward Partners Program?
The Marketing Essentials Pay It Forward Partners Program is a charitable program that allows us to support local, nonprofit organizations and their efforts to strengthen our local communities.
Through the program, we donate our expertise and services to build or improve their digital presence. We believe by using our God-given talents to help support their mission, we are helping transform the lives of others.
Through the program, Marketing Essentials:
- Develops or optimizes nonprofit organization’s websites, social media channels, email campaigns, online videos and other digital tactics to meet best practice standards.
- Executes brand awareness digital strategies and campaigns to advance recognition of nonprofit organizations.
- Uses digital channels to promote specific nonprofit project campaigns and initiatives.
Nominations can only be made by employees of Marketing Essentials. The Pay It Forward Partners Program does not support or provide services to individuals or for-profit organizations/companies and does not make financial contributions.
