Laura is a seasoned writer and editor and a self-admitted "word nerd." She is particularly passionate about proofreading and can spot a grammatical error a mile away. With experience writing about a variety of different subject matter areas, her writing skillset is quite versatile, and she loves finding ways to apply her talents at Marketing Essentials. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, watching Disney movies and singing.
You may have seen memes or social media posts that say “Grammar Matters” or marquee boards with silly errors. While these give us a good laugh, there is a deeper underlying message here: Grammar errors make you look bad – period.
Being raised in the church, I’ve been a Christian ever since I can remember, and I’m a proud fourth-generation member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys. Living out my faith takes many forms, such as attending church and helping with children’s ministries, but more recently, I’ve longed to use my spiritual gifts to bless those in need who may not be believers in Christ.
