Patty Cisco, MBA
As the founder of Marketing Essentials, Patty Cisco inspires executives, managers, and professionals with her exceptional business acumen and unbridled passion. An experienced growth catalyst, Patty draws on her broad operations, marketing and sales management and strategic planning expertise to deliver transformative data-driven results through digital marketing. Patty approaches each client’s challenge as if it were her own, using collaborative engagements to overcome obstacles and improve outcomes. When she is not at a speaking engagement, running educational programs or entrenched in an inbound marketing and sales project, Patty enjoys pursuing knowledge, biking, gardening and interacting with her family and friends. She is driven by purpose, passion, and faith.
When Mary Tangeman came to Marketing Essentials, she brought exceptional project management, strategic marketing, and customer service skills that she had developed after spending more than a decade in the manufacturing industry. Working closely with the team to create strategies and coordinate marketing initiatives, Mary enjoys seeing careful planning and precise execution translate into outstanding results for her clients. At home, Mary is delighted to spend time with her husband and four children.
Meet Jackie! With her outgoing personality, she is a true team player with each client. She believes every brand has a unique story to tell, and she wants to help grow it and share it. She has a niche about researching, writing and learning as much as she can about a variety of topics. When Jackie isn’t immersed in digital marketing, she can be found enjoying quality time with her fiancé and Aussidoodle Azzy, playing Bridge or visiting with family. Jackie is frequently referred to as having what some may call an “old soul.”
Alexandria comes to Marketing Essentials with a strong background in journalism and live T.V. news. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Media Production and Analysis. Alex has a strong understanding of project management and applies strategic marketing principles to generate results for her clients. Her energetic, outgoing personality is a great fit for her dynamic team of marketing professionals. Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and their 9-year-old boxer Roy, or decorating and redecorating her home between her husband’s many renovation projects. She enjoys working out, traveling, prepping meals and walking Roy around the neighborhood.
Mark Cisco, CPA
Mark Cisco has over 25 years of experience as a practicing CPA. Since starting his own accounting firm in 1990, he’s worked with a wide variety of clients from multimillion dollar companies to small businesses to personal tax returns. He has experience with both personal and business taxation, as well as bookkeeping, financial consulting and payroll services. Mark’s accounting experience and business acumen have also come in handy in his current role as treasurer for his local rotary club and as a past president of the local chamber of commerce. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. Mark is also an experienced sports officiator—if he’s not with his family, his place is on the football field or softball diamond.
If you need to quantify the results of your digital marketing activities, Mark Blackford is your man. Mark is a master of data analytics, keyword research, email marketing, SEO, and PPC. He helps produce optimal results for Marketing Essentials clients by planning, executing, and analyzing conversion pathways for each stage of the sales funnel. When Mark is not monitoring the real-time results of his work for Marketing Essentials’ clients, you can find him exploring with the Boy Scouts or enjoying sports with his teenagers.
Inquisitive and curious, Danielle has a natural skill for analysis and problem-solving. She likes to ask questions, dig into data and uncover anomalies and opportunities. As she says, the data does not lie and it tells a story. She has previous experience in data analysis in the insurance industry, where she was monitoring and uncovering trends and retention rates. Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys tent camping, traveling, exploring, reading, going to concerts and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Since Jenna Schultz joined Marketing Essentials, she has consistently added a creative flair and outstanding value for clients and team members alike. With skills in content crafting, digital design, and web development, Jenna is always striving to expand her capabilities. When she’s not working on an amazing web design, you are sure to find Jenna running, reading, or enjoying the company of her husband and three young children.
Tyler Louth uses his 10 years of web design experience to create stunning websites that facilitate seamless user experiences. After working with clients that ranged from small businesses to multi-million dollar companies, he has developed a wide variety of skills, including E-commerce site creation, WordPress site building and digital marketing and advertising. A happily married father of three, he enjoys spending his free time golfing, drawing, and spending time with family and friends.
In his never-ending journey to learn everything about the web, Kyle Johnson has recently turned his focus to optimizing websites to meet their maximum potential. When Kyle unplugs from the wild world of technology, he enjoys binge-watching Netflix, playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family. Kyle also enjoys the great outdoors and camping trips with his wife. He always makes sure to bring his camera along in case nature decides to gift him with an amazing opportunity.
Kelly Braun was born to write. An award-winning writer with more than 20 years of experience, Kelly understands how to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences. Responsible for crafting blogs, white papers, and website content, Kelly also enjoys participating in marketing strategy and campaign development. When she’s not engulfed in research or writing at Marketing Essentials, you’ll find Kelly reading, working out, or enjoying the company of her young daughters.
Ask Jason what he does for a living and he’ll tell you he doesn’t work a day in his life. His love for videography is more of a passion than a job, and every day brings exciting new challenges. Ever since he began studying communications and film at BGSU, he’s worked on a wide array of projects, from television shows to commercials to online videos. For his efforts, he has won two silver Telly awards, which honor excellence in video and television. The shifting focus from broadcast to online digital marketing has allowed him to master new skills and find creative new ways to highlight a company’s culture, brand and products. In his free time, he’s often still behind the camera practicing photography and experimenting with new equipment.
Adding another creative perspective to the mix, Haley Miller enjoys coordinating, scheduling, and executing inbound marketing initiatives at Marketing Essentials. Although Haley is responsible for curating and posting content, she enjoys contributing to digital design projects and strategic discussions as well. Haley loves to spend her free time outdoors and preparing for her growing family.
Claire Giesige believes every person — and every company — has a story to tell, and she enjoys finding that story. With a passion for writing and editing, she works with clients to share their company stories and messages in unique and compelling ways. She’s an experienced journalist, knowledgeable marketer and team player. When Claire’s not meticulously checking over her copy, she loves to spend time with her tight-knit family, wandering around in the great outdoors, and, of course, reading.
A passion for consuming and developing content drives Jessica. She values variety and diversity in her work and views continuous improvement as an important piece of writing. Jessica fell in love with writing at a young age and graduated from Miami University with degrees in journalism and marketing. She brings experience in both print and digital marketing to the team, and is a skilled proofreader and data analyst. She loves reading and re-reading books, running outdoors, volunteering (ask her about Catchafire) and raiding the aisles at Trader Joe’s.
With a strong background in journalism, Angie Klosterman has an eye for details and a talent for sharing others’ stories. In addition to writing and editing, she loves being part of the research process, from interviewing sources and curating content to experiencing the final product come to life. Angie especially enjoys assisting clients at every step of their marketing journey to get a product they love. When she is not posting on social media or writing blog posts, you can find Angie traveling with her family, enjoying local music, taking a yoga class or volunteering.
Jessica studies advertising design wherever she goes and thrives on the excitement of new social media marketing trends. She enjoys researching modern techniques to create eye-catching designs and creative ways to get your product or service in front of potential clients. She is an expert in making a message stand out due to her varied experience in marketing and graphic design in the newspaper and promotional product industries. When she is not on a new exciting marketing campaign, Jessica spends time with her husband and daughter or watercolor painting (or feeding her Pinterest obsession).
Sara Joseph uses her lifelong passion for writing and designing to cultivate unique, interesting content for clients. She has a background in public relations and graphic design, which allows her to combine her creative talents with marketing expertise. The world of inbound marketing is always changing, so she enjoys researching the latest trends and experimenting in Adobe Creative Suite to find new ways to deliver outstanding results. Outside of the office, you’ll find Sara spending time with her husband, playing referee to her three sons and perusing Twitter for the latest gossip.
After having honed her marketing skills in the finance industry, Brooke Taylor enjoys the dynamic team environment at Marketing Essentials. In addition to coordinating and executing inbound digital marketing initiatives, Brooke enjoys participating in marketing strategy and campaign development. When she is not crafting email or posting social media or blog content, you are likely to find Brooke enjoying the company of her young daughters and husband.
Sarah Mescher brings an eye for design and passion for exploring new marketing trends. She enjoys brainstorming with her team and clients to create online content, designs and marketing strategies that deliver results and help companies achieve their goals. Her experience in graphic design within the manufacturing industry and at a print shop provides diverse capabilities for her clients. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and four young, energetic children
Brooke has a passion for helping others, which is a trait that has made her a champion for her coworkers and clients here at Marketing Essentials. She has a strong background in graphic design and uses her leadership experience to help others achieve their goals while keeping the overall strategy in mind. When she’s not at work, Brooke participates in biking events for numerous causes and enjoys working in her creative studio, being with her family and spending time with her favorite Great Pyrenees, Aspen.
